Olive Garden E. coli Outbreak

The Multnomah County Health Department (MCHD) traced an E. coli outbreak to the Gresham, Oregon, Olive Garden restaurant in April, 2005. The MCHD determined that at least 18 people had become ill after eating at the Olive Garden. Although a particular food item was never determined to be the source of the outbreak, MCHD pinpointed the Olive Garden restaurant as the source of the outbreak.
